Hellooooo!
This is my first post as a blogger!  I watched an ancestry.com live feed today about blogging and am hopeful I succeed!
The blog created was titled "Cousin Bait"! Awesome!
I am in pursuit of my family's history and I am looking forward to all new connections!
Today, I will start with my mother's side of the family.  Her maiden name is Keese.  I have traced her father's family to Goldthwaite, Texas at the time of the Civil War! Very interesting stuff!
Here is what I have so far:
Elizabeth Ann Keese
     Major Van Keese
          James Harrison Keese
               Thomas Keese
Then. . .nothing. . .I only know that Thomas Keese was married to Martha Elizabeth Rigby and that she lost Thomas to the war and remarried a man with the last name Fletcher.
I have no idea who Thomas' parents were.  I believe he was born in Georgia.

So, that is a start for today.  Looking forward to this new endeavor!
